This new role for the Cyprus office calls for an experienced Accountant, preferably with SAP experience in Cyprus.
Job Description
- Manage accounting and operational matters for the group, including foreign entities.
- Prepare detailed management accounts and budgets.
- Ensure accurate processing of accounts payable and supplier payments, including calculations, reviews, and settlements.
- Prepare and issue invoices to clients.
- Prepare and monitor monthly intercompany reconciliations.
- Handle cash management tasks (bank payments and reconciliations).
- Manage cash flow forecasting and planning for the company and group.
- Identify areas for improvement and propose solutions for systems and daily processes.
- Investigate and resolve payment-related issues, providing support to clients with payment queries.
- Collaborate with external auditors and assist with the annual audit process.
- Ensure the timely and accurate preparation and filing of regulatory returns (VAT, income tax, SITs, and annual returns).
Your Profile
- LCCI Higher in Accounting or equivalent diploma; Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance, or/and CAT qualification will be considered an advantage.
- Minimum of 2-3 years experience in a similar position.
- Proficiency in both English and Greek (oral and written).
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Proven experience managing accounting functions for multiple locations in a multinational corporation or professional services firm.
- Familiarity with SAP B1 would be beneficial.
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Flexible, resilient, and adaptable to change.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time-management skills.
