Our client is known for their dedication in providing high quality legal training to qualified and prospective lawyers at all stages of their legal education. They pride themselves on offering legal training by lawyers for lawyers and law students along with career guidance, direction, and continuous professional development. Currently hiring an independent contractor for AML and Compliance Department.

Job Description

  • Create detailed and comprehensive course specifications, aligned with industry standards and relevance to current AML and Compliance trends
  • Accreditation management – regulatory requirements for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) purposes
  • Course Delivery and Planning
  • Implement forward-thinking and innovative learning strategies to enhance student engagement
  • Leadership and Advocacy for the department (social media profile showcasing relevant experience and expertise is a plus)
  • Oversee the creation and operation of the AML and Compliance department – having creative freedom but also willingness to adhere to internal procedures and guidance
  • Recruit and train additional trainers for specialist areas of AML and compliance
  • Set the academic direction for the program, balancing innovative approaches with practical application
  • Develop on-demand courses and build them out on an LMS (training provided and fully outfitted recording studio provided in house)
  • Knowledge of the market and industry trends and a willingness to stay up to date
  • Sales and networking

Your Profile

  • Degree from a reputable University
  • At least 30 hours of teaching experience in AML and compliance (demonstrated by written confirmation)
  • Practical experience in AML and Compliance
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver high-quality educational content
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and advocacy skills
  • Excellent Greek and English
  • Tech savvy – Excel, MS Word, Outlook
  • HRDA trainer accreditation is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills for engaging with students, colleagues, and industry professionals
  • Ability to handle and resolve conflicts or disagreements in a professional manner.
  • A commitment to staying updated with the latest trends in AML and Compliance, reflecting a dedication to continuous professional development
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles and to modify plans as needed


  • Hourly Rate – Competitive payment for course delivery on an hourly basis
  • Royalties – Remuneration through royalties for on-demand courses
  • Profit Sharing – A percentage of the profits from courses and department operations
