Our client, an independent provider of Fund, Corporate, and Multi-Family Office services for international clients operating through Cyprus, is seeking to add a Banking Services Officer to their esteemed team in Nicosia, Cyprus.

As a Banking Services Officer, you will play a crucial role in facilitating banking operations and providing exceptional service to our clients. You will be responsible for managing various banking activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and delivering efficient solutions to meet client needs.

Job Description

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding banking-related inquiries and transactions.
  • Cultivate and nurture strong client relationships to comprehend their banking requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Establish and maintain robust relationships with banks and EMIs, both domestically and internationally, to stay abreast of banking products and emerging trends, particularly in digital banking services.
  • Monitor account activity, investigate discrepancies or irregularities, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with banks and financial institutions to address issues and optimize banking operations.
  • Assist in onboarding new clients by facilitating the setup of bank accounts and fulfilling documentation requirements.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to prospective clients on banking products and procedures to enhance their understanding and satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to banking transactions and client interactions.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and CFO on various internal and banking projects, including Bank Monitoring Reports for Client Companies.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent field.
  • Prior experience in banking operations, preferably within a financial services environment.
  • Solid understanding of banking products, digital banking solutions, services, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proficient in computer skills with a good command of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent command of English and Greek languages.
  • Strong communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, learn quickly, and adapt to changing situations.
  • Proficient in multitasking and task prioritization.
  • Professional, trustworthy, and punctual demeanor.
  • Proactive thinker with a willingness to contribute innovative ideas.
  • Enthusiastic about joining a fast-growing international work environment.
