Based in Nicosia Cyprus, our client is a passionate, advocate and provider of Padel sporting services, merchandise, and courts.

The ideal candidate will be a Padel player and passionate sports enthusiast eager to take on a challenge and bring more visibility to this amazing sport. You will need to be an exceptional, experienced, driven, high-performance Operations professional who is highly collaborative, performance-focused, grounded in facts-based reality, highly motivated, and a strategic thinker. This role will be reporting to the Board of the company.

Job Description

  • Project manage the initial stages of the Club establishment – including physical premises and assist in feasibility studies of future locations
  • Manage the A-Z of the business day-to-day operations including the management of all club facilities (Padel courts, Academy, social area, cafeteria, and shop)
  • Responsible for the financial side of the business (bill payments, receipts, customer invoices, taxes, accounting)
  • Recruit personnel, train and manage them including the scheduling of shifts as needed
  • Set up and over time improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices
  • Help the organization’s processes remain legally compliant
  • Attend Board meetings as invited and maintain constant updates and communication
Your Profile
  • Degree in Business, Sports Management, or a related field
  • Ideally have work experience as Project Manager/Operations Manager/Sports Venue Manager or a similar role
  • Ideally a Padel player/enthusiast or other racket sport player
  • Extensive knowledge of the local health and fitness market and understanding/experience running a sports and/or health club
  • Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
  • Experience budgeting and forecasting
  • Familiarity with business and financial principles
  • Fluent in Greek and English
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to be flexible and responsive to changing priorities
  • Ability to be self-directed, take ownership, and see projects to completion on time
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong customer service orientation
  • Strong critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with a record of developing and strengthening systems and processes
  • Ability to work collaboratively, exercising good judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills to achieve shared goals
  • Salary dependent on experience
  • 21 working days’ vacation
