Operating in Nicosia, Cyprus, our esteemed client is now seeking to recruit a Fund Accountant.
The company is a licensed AIF and UCITS Management Company, whose authorization is extended to cover the investment services of Portfolio Management and Investment Advice to individual clients.
Job Description
- provide a full range of fund accounting services, including the preparation of Accounting Reports, Management Accounts, and Finanacial Statements
- Assist in the preparation of payroll, including the calculation of employee salaries, statutory deductions, and employer contributions
- Liaise with clients, banks, and investment managers for the gathering of accounting related information
- Coordinate with external auditors during the Annual Statutory Audit process
- Perform other relevant or internal fund administration duties depending on the needs of the Company
Your Profile
- University Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Fully qualified or working towards completion of ACA or ACCA, is considered an advantage
- Holder of CySEC Advanced Certification, is considered an advantage
- At least 3-5 years of working experience as an Accountant/Auditor within a professional services organisation or similar
- Previous experience in the fund industry is considered an advantage
- Understanding of financial instruments such as equities, bonds, and options
- Good level of proficiency with MS Office applications, particularly in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English languages, both oral and written
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and teamwork attitude
- Highest ethical standards, integrity, and discipline
