Head Office Accountant

We have an excellent role newly vacant within an expanding, international company in Nicosia, with business activities globally. The ideal candidate is based in Nicosia or Larnaca, happy to travel to the office 2-3 days a week, and work with local and remote colleagues in English.

This role would suit a qualified Accountant with experience in Audit and Industry who has good knowledge of accounting standards, audit, month-end reporting, and transactional ledgers using FX currencies. You will report to the Group Financial Controller, who will assist in the preparation of the month-end reporting and completion of month-end tasks.

• Payment approvals P&L
• Balance sheet reviews
• Internal audit
• Internal reporting
• Audit oversight and completion
• Consolidation of group accounts
• Mentoring Junior Accountants

Your Profile

• Qualified Accountant with min 2 years of post-qualification experience
• Intermediate Excel knowledge
• Fluency in English language (speaking and writing)
• Previous experience in Audit working with IFRS etc
• Proven experience in AP, AR, and cash ledgers
• Solid experience within international companies/groups
• Proven experience doing balance sheet reconciliations and management accounts
