Our client is an international advisory and fiduciary services firm for wealthy individuals, family offices, corporations, and institutional clients. They are looking to hire an internal finance professional to join their their ever-growing team in Larnaca.
Job Description
- Handling of the invoicing process on a quarterly basis for the company and the group, comprising: internal communications with mandate heads, prepare invoice descriptions, perform re-calculation of fees and VAT, issue invoices etc.
- Bookkeeping and financial reporting of local Cyprus companies with an international presence, in accordance with IFRS
- Preparation of bank reconciliations, debtors’ statements, creditors’ statements
- Preparation and submission of VAT and VIES returns
- Assistance in preparation of accounting folders for audit and handling of audit requests
- Preparation of monthly payroll for Cyprus employees, including processing of TD59, TD63, TD7 etc
Your Profile
- 2+ years of professional experience as a Bookkeeper/Assistant Accountant, working with Cyprus software such as eSoft etc.
- Openness to learn new things and to multi-task and vary priorities
- Previous experience in invoicing in the service industry
- Excellent written and oral communication in English (must)
- Conversational in German (desirable)
- Team player, self-motivated and able to work independently for timely delivery of work under strict deadlines
- IT applications – excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and accounting software tool
