Our client is a European leader in STEM education systems and construction toys, combining physical kits with coding, robotics, and classroom-ready curricula. Their unique value lies in delivering complete educational solutions, making them a trusted partner to schools, publishers, and ministries worldwide.
We’re seeking a strategic and hands-on International Business Development Specialist to drive growth across three priority channels:
1. Education Sales – to schools, ministries of education, and educational publishers (core expertise and USP)
2. Toy Distribution – expanding B2B sales of award-winning STEM kits to retail chains and resellers
3. Franchise Development – growing the international network of the company’s STEM Learning Centres
This is a commercially focused leadership role with one goal: to scale the firm’s global presence through the right partners.
You will work closely with the Marketing Manager, who handles brand campaigns and digital presence, while you focus on:
- Revenue growth
- Channel development
- Team building (internal and external sales specialists)
Job Description
- Lead international education sales, targeting private/public schools, ministries, resellers, and educational publishers
- Manage and grow global partnerships in the toy retail sector (chains, distributors, e-retailers)
- Identify and onboard new franchisees to expand the firm’s Learning Centre model
- Build a global network of representatives, agents, and strategic accounts
- Build and lead your own international sales team with clearly defined KPIs and growth targets
- Represent the firm at major global education and toy fairs (e.g., BETT, Spielwarenmesse)
- Collaborate with senior management to align strategy and priorities
Your Profile
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset and global exposure
- 7+ years’ experience in international sales (especially in EdTech, educational publishing, toys, or franchising)
- Proven ability to work with schools, publishers, ministries, and retail buyers
- Experience building and managing channel sales teams and partner networks
- Willing and able to relocate to Cyprus for 3 years. Future Base: Option to relocate or lead from home country post-term
- Fluent in English; other languages (e.g. French, Arabic, Spanish) are a plus
