Our client is a boutique corporate service provider specializing in providing high caliber services to private & corporate clients, seeking to recruit a Qualified Junior Corporate Lawyer to join the team based in Nicosia.

Job Description

  • Negotiating, drafting and reviewing corporate and commercial agreements, including Shareholders Agreements, director’s Service Agreements, NDAs and Confidentiality Agreements, JV agreements, employment agreements, Sale and Purchase Agreements, lease agreements, PoAs etc.
  • Understanding and handling corporate transactions, increase and decrease of share capital, reorganisations, and restructurings, including re-domiciliation of companies from and to Cyprus, mergers and acquisitions, real estate and finance transactions etc.
  • Preparing legal and corporate documents as well as court related applications to the various authorities and Courts.
  • Providing internal legal advice and guidance to all the members of the Group with regard to any legal matters that may arise.
  • Providing ad hoc legal support as required by the Management.
  • Responding promptly to internal requests, summarizing and communicating legal risks while allowing a balance of risk that conforms to the Group’s business objectives.
  • Preparing HE forms and resolutions.
  • Liaising with international law or corporate commercial firms who regularly engage the firm for corporate and commercial legal matters.
  • Attending meetings with clients in Cyprus and/or abroad.

Your Profile

  • Sharp judgement, active listener, with critical thinking and market orientation.
  • University degree in Law (LLB).
  • Minimum 1 year professional experience in related departments of either a group of companies, fiduciary service provider or Law firm is essential.
  • Qualified lawyer, member of the Cyprus Bar Association.
  • Good knowledge of legislation and regulations in relation to Companies law.
  • Proficient in both Greek and English (written and spoken).
  • Excellent practical knowledge of contract, commercial, and corporate law.
  • Knowledge of how the Cyprus Registrar of companies operates.
  • Experience in dealing with corporate litigation matters (Court applications, procedures, etc).
  • Organizational and Communicational skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Commitment and team player.
  • Fast learner, self- motivated and career-driven individual.
