Job Description
- Prepare and file pleadings, summations, and interim applications before all District Courts
- Undertake legal research
- Represent clients before Courts and other public authorities; attend meetings with clients
- Handle cross-border transactions and conduct legal due diligence
- Structure, draft, review, and negotiate legal documents
- Provide legal opinions on civil, corporate/trust matters, and corporate transactions
- Provide corporate services to clients
- Assist with the setup of corporate structures and licensing matters
Your Profile
- Law degree (minimum upper second class) from a reputable English university (An LPC, BAR or LLM shall be considered an advantage)
- Member of the Cyprus Bar Association
- Excellent Knowledge of English and Greek
- 2 years experience in civil litigation and/or corporate law and/or financing transactions and/or M&A work
- Competency and experience in drafting, negotiating and reviewing legal contracts is preferred
- Ability/experience to coordinate directly with clients, receive instructions with supervision
- Competent computer skills
- Highly organized individual, able to meet tight deadlines, multi-task and work within a team in a challenging work environment
- Previous experience in legal aspects of capital markets/financial services/funds/trusts shall be considered an advantage
