As a leading provider of crane services in the marine sector, our client specializes in servicing, repairing, and maintaining cranes for ships and offshore platforms. With a strong reputation for reliability and excellence, they serve high-profile global shipping and ship management companies.

We are proud to be recruiting once more for their Nicosia, Cyprus team, this time we are on the hunt for a Key Account Manager—a pivotal role in managing and nurturing relationships with key clients in the marine sector. Primary focus will be on high-profile companies within the shipping and ship management industry, ensuring their satisfaction and maximizing business opportunities.

Job Description

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the shipping and ship management sector.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and escalations, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Understand client needs and objectives, and proactively identify opportunities to enhance services and offerings.

Internal Sales and Coordination

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams such as sales, operations, and technical support to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients.
  • Coordinate sales activities, including quotations, proposals, and contract negotiations, to meet client requirements and achieve sales targets.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular reports and updates to management.

Account Planning and Strategy

  • Develop and implement strategic account plans tailored to each key client, outlining objectives, tactics, and timelines for achieving business growth.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding service offerings within existing client accounts.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience of minimum 5 years in key account management, sales, purchasing, or business development roles within the marine sector, focusing on shipping and ship management companies.
  • Strong understanding of maritime operations, and the challenges clients face in the marine industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.


  • Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00
  • Holiday: 35 days including public holidays
  • Hybrid working pattern
  • Profit share bonus
  • 4% Pension after 12 months of employment
  • 3 month probationary period
