On behalf of our client, a leading transportation company in Cyprus, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Project Manager to oversee and coordinate primarily EU-funded and RIF projects. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing the full project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with EU regulations, and achieving project objectives on time and within budget.
Job Description
- Plan, implement, and manage EU-funded projects from initiation to completion.
- Monitor project performance and ensure compliance with EU guidelines, regulations, and financial rules.
- Coordinate with internal teams, stakeholders, and consortium partners across Europe.
- Prepare and submit project reports, including financial and technical documentation, to funding bodies.
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation.
- Organize and facilitate meetings, workshops, and dissemination events.
- Identify and mitigate project risks while proactively addressing challenges.
- Support the development of new project proposals and applications for EU funding.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Project Management, International Relations, European Studies, or a related discipline).
- Proven experience managing EU-funded projects (e.g., Horizon Europe, Erasmus+, Interreg, or similar programs).
- Strong knowledge of EU funding mechanisms, regulations, and reporting requirements.
- Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Trello, or similar).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Fluency in English is essential.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
