Our client, an innovative SME based in Nicosia, Cyprus, is looking for a full-time R&D Project Manager to join the growing team. With over seven years of experience and participation in 10+ EU-funded R&D projects, this company is committed to research and innovation in software solutions.
As part of the R&D team, you will help manage and coordinate European Commission-funded Research and Development (R&D) and Research and Innovation (R&I) projects. Your role will involve overseeing project activities, collaborating with partners, and contributing ideas, reviews, and technical input where relevant. Prior experience in managing EU-funded projects is valuable, as well as strong communication and organizational skills.
Job Description
- Managing and coordinating R&D projects and working with consortium partners.
- Representing Company in project meetings, workshops, and conferences.
- Supporting project planning, ensuring smooth execution and resource coordination.
- Preparing and reviewing project deliverables, including reports and presentations.
- Engaging in ICT research areas such as cloud computing, AI/ML, blockchain, and digital twins.
- Building strong relationships with project partners and stakeholders.
- Ensuring timely project progress and risk management.
Your Profile
- A PhD (or equivalent experience) in a scientific or engineering field, preferably ICT will be considered a plus
- At least two years of experience managing EU-funded R&D/R&I projects.
- A good understanding of ICT research and innovation.
- Strong communication and presentation skills in English and Greek.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
- A collaborative and adaptable approach, with a passion for innovation.
- Experience working with international teams and partners.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).
- Project management skills (PMP certification is a plus).
- Willingness to travel occasionally when required.
