With head offices in Belgium and around 40+ employees worldwide, our client is a long established pharma company with a small but expanding team in Cyprus.
The successful candidate will be a Senior Supply Chain Officer knowledgeable if not experienced in the pharmaceutical world and will work remotely from Cyprus with colleagues mainly in Belgium and Lebanon as well as other countries.
Job Description
- Negotiating the best optimal offers from suppliers, taking into consideration quantities & delivery dates (incl. shipments and clearing)
- Following up on purchase orders until delivery
- Communicating with suppliers in case there is any discrepancy between received goods and purchase orders/ invoices
- Ensuring that all information related to purchase orders and invoices is well entered into the system of the company
- Ensuring that all suppliers’ invoices are settled on time and coordinate with the accounting department for this purpose
- Preparing all shipment documents by following client’s instructions: Invoice -Packing list – Certificate of Analysis and Specifications
- Ensuring all activities are carried out to appropriate regulatory standards as described by GDP (Good Distribution Practices) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and internal standards set by regulatory and quality
- Preparing sales orders tracking and Purchase order tracking
- Preparing all reports/ presentations/ statistics required by Management (report as agreed within Standard Operating Procedures)
- Tracking orders and shipments
- Placing purchase orders with suppliers and following-up on the requests of all the countries
- Coordinating between the clearing agent and Key Account Support in order to clear goods at the airport or port when required
- Handling Supplier’s Nonconformities
- Gathering data from all countries per product
- Considering unplanned demands
- Checking the stock and placing new purchase orders
- Preparing forecasts
- Following-up with clients to receiving proper forecasts, ensuring OTIF (On time/In full) implementation of supply system, for assessing supply chain reliability and customer satisfaction.
Your profile
- University degree in Science Field is preferred
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in a Supply Chain role
- Fluency in English, strong command of French would be an advantage.
