As a QA Engineer you will be working alongside software developers and take part in various web and mobile projects, assessing software quality by designing and implementing software testing processes. You will take ownership of code quality through manual and automated tests to ensure product quality. Through this, you will identify and report system issues/bugs in accordance to set quality standards and business needs.
Job Description
- Gather, review and analyse business and system specifications
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Developers to ensure the quality of a feature
- Design and execute test cases (manual and automated) and analyse results
- Conduct tests across systems, browsers and devices for Web and Mobile
- Create logs to document testing phases and defects
- Report bugs and errors to the Development team
- Report defects and assists in troubleshooting
- Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
- Identify key KPIs for product quality
- Prepare and present reports and metrics to Senior Management
Your Profile
- Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or in a related field
- Minimum 3 years demonstrated experience as a Quality Assurance Test Engineer with a focus on Automation testing
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Hands-on experience in automated testing tools such as Playwright, Python, Android Studio or Xcode
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
- Working knowledge of test management software
- Familiarity in Agile ways of working, especially SCRUM
- Experienced in API testing tools like Postman, Swagger, SoapUI, WireMock
- Fluency in Greek and English, both verbal and written
