Our client is a leading pharmaceutical and medical devices company based in Cyprus, with a strong presence in the healthcare sector. As part of its ongoing growth, the company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales & Clinical Team Leader to oversee its Surgical Consumables Department.
The successful candidate will lead a team of sales and clinical support professionals responsible for promoting and supporting surgical consumable products across Cyprus. This is a field-based role with significant responsibility for driving market development, supporting healthcare professionals, and achieving business objectives through effective leadership and operational excellence.
Job Description
- Lead and manage the Surgical Consumables sales and clinical support team across Cyprus.
- Conduct regular field visits to key healthcare providers in hospitals and clinics.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within the assigned area.
- Maintain deep product knowledge and ensure the team is fully trained and aligned with company goals.
- Organize and participate in scientific meetings, product presentations, and promotional activities.
- Collaborate with management to develop and execute both short-term and long-term strategic plans.
- Represent the company in medical congresses and industry events locally and abroad.
- Prepare and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly visit schedules and activity plans.
- Deliver accurate and timely market feedback, competitor analysis, and performance reports to management.
- Ensure strong cross-functional collaboration with internal departments.
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and transparency in all interactions.
Your Profile
- University degree in Biomedical Science, Biomedical Engineering, Human Biology, Nursing, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar role within the medical devices or pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience in interventional cardiology, structural heart, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, or vascular surgery is a strong advantage.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Business-oriented mindset with excellent negotiation abilities.
- Highly organized, proactive, and results-driven.
- Fluency in Greek and English (written and spoken).
- Willingness to travel abroad for training or conferences.
- Valid driving license.
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
