Operations Manager

Limassol Cyprus Full-Time - Hybrid Working Model Senior Level

Based in Singapore with offices in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East, our client is a global enterprise with multiple business streams and a launching team in Cyprus.

Focusing on ethically sourced precious metals, this group has a wide client base including private and institutional investors, jewelry manufacturers, and refineries. To join and expand this team by helping to launch Cyprus, the successful candidate will need to be an exceptional, experienced, driven, high-performance Operations Manager.

Job Description

  • Manage the A-Z of business setup as a Cyprus office with additional retail spaces
  • Business registration document submission to the relevant authorities
  • Set up Corporate Bank Account
  • Establish physical premises
  • Manage day-to-day operations and assist the CEO directly when in Cyprus and maintain constant updates and communication with CEO’s office and other colleagues remotely
  • Recruit and select the Cyprus team
  • Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices
  • Help the organization’s processes remain legally compliant, ensuring Audit compliance under the International Accounting and Auditing Standards
  • Formulate strategic and operational objectives in alignment with Global Offices

Your Profile

  • Degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field
  • Proven work experience as Project Manager/Operations Manager or similar role
  • Extensive knowledge of the local market and understanding of the complexities of opening and operating a business in Cyprus
  • Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
  • Experience budgeting and forecasting
  • Familiarity with business and financial principles
  • Fluent in Greek and English
  • Desire to work with people of diverse backgrounds, cultures, and perspectives
  • Strong alignment with organizational mission and values
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to be flexible and responsive to changing priorities
  • Ability to be self-directed, take ownership, and see projects to completion in a timely manner
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong customer service orientation
  • Strong critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with a record of developing and strengthening systems and processes
  • Ability to work collaboratively, exercising good judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills to achieve shared goals
