Our client is a health-tech social impact company, looking to hire a highly skilled QA Engineer to be based in their Nicosia offices, to take the lead on important projects. Our client operates a London-based product suite which includes mobile and web applications.

The ideal applicant needs to have a strong background in software engineering best practices in QA and software testing. The QA technician plays a vital role in the product development process.


Job Description

  • Responsible for ensuring that the service meets the established required standards of quality
  • To develop and execute exploratory and automated tests ensuring best quality of produce
  • Ensure that the platform meets the required standards including reliability, usability and performance
  • Evaluate adequacy and quality assurance standards
  • Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plan and test cases (end to end)
  • Estimate, prioritise, plan and co-ordinate testing activities
  • Design, develop and execute automation scripts
  • Identify, record, document in detail and track identified bugs
  • Perform regression testing following the resolution of bugs
  • Work closely with the remaining Engineering team to identify and define system requirements
  • Track quality assurance metrics
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation


Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor or Masters in Computer Science or related technical field
  • 3+ years is Software Development
  • Proven work experience in software quality assurance
  • Good knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
  • Experience in writing comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in fluent English
  • Must thrive on new challenges, demonstrates excellent judgment in prioritizing tasks and is a multi-tasker who passionately wants to contribute to the design and development of an integrated solution.
