Job Description

  • Responsible for recruiting new members and helping to retain current members
  • Fostering relationships with Members, individuals, and corporations who book events so as to maintain a catalogue of repeat business while prospecting for new events
  • Assist new Club members to become engaged through Club programs and benefits
  • Ensure all services administered to Club Members and their guests are consistent with expected level of service
  • Set up Membership database, profiles, networking, leads
  • Create in collaboration with the Club team, the annual calendar plan for The Club individual events
  • Responsible in growing Membership base and provide value-added services in Members relationship.
  • Keen understanding and further development of Membership policies, rules and regulations, available facilities and services, ongoing programs, events and activities
  • The selling, planning and coordinating of all aspects of private events and meeting functions held within The Club
  • Prepare a quarterly plan and responsibility for achieving budgeted sales plan.
  • Generating a definitive sales and marketing plan to achieve departmental revenue goals
  • Responsible for selling all private functions, including meeting with the clients to determine needs, meeting those needs and exceeding their expectations through detailed communication
  • Networking inside and outside The Club to obtain 'leads' and build relationships with new and existing clients
  • Attendance and supervision at Club events
  • Work with the House Chef & Catering/Service Team to establish profitable and competitive private event menus that meet clients’ needs
  • Events handling administration work e.g. preparation of offers/quotations, members communication, presentations to clients etc.
  • Assist at times of need with front desk in handling phone calls, greeting visitors and other unplanned duties to better serve our members

Your Profile

  • Professional appearance maintained by self and all private event personnel
  • You will be an executive with 3-7 years of experience, an International outlook, preferably from a Marketing/Business background
  • You will be a born communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Fluent English & Greek is essential, additional languages a plus
  • You will be a consummate professional and ambassador for the company, presentable and outspoken, with a growth mindset and impeccable character, willing to learn and grow
  • Solid understanding of banqueting & events revenue generation concepts
  • You will be a high energy & outgoing personality, organised with attention to detail, diplomatic and a team player
  • Proven ability to generate leads and secure appointments
  • Proven track record of sales performance along with marketing/prospecting programs that drive event revenue
  • Ability to deliver exceptional customer service
