Job Description

  • Responsible to be the HR center and hub of the office
  • Responsible for the administration of payroll and managing as well as maintaining employee records and data files
  • Responsible for the administration of employee benefits and work permits
  • Liaising and working closely with relevant depts. such as IT and Finance re new hires and induction, start dates, etc. To also assist these depts. With giving them employment reports and helping with budgets and other processes
  • Inducting new staff on such matters as company policies, employee handbooks, travel procedures, etc.
  • Responsible for coordinating and assisting with relocations and supporting relevant processes
  • Coordinating the recruitment process including interviews, relevant testing and drafting offer letters and employment contracts for employees and consultants
  • Line managing and supervising admin staff
  • Maintaining and carrying out internal systems and structures such as the appraisal process and evaluation of roles and job requirements with job descriptions
  • To act as Health and safety officer, compiling reports and ensuring health and safety compliance
  • Responsible for coordinating training and assisting senior staff to select and source programs
  • Take the lead in organizing and creating events and conferences etc.
  • Responsible for internal directories etc such as the internal organizational charts and company directories
  • Responsible for keeping up to date with national and local legal requirements and ensuring co compliance with these by applying existing and new legislation at all times
  • Uphold management team’s HR structures and vision by preparing, updating and recommending human resource policies and procedures
  • Report to senior management and attend management meetings
  • Actively take part in projects HR-related and in tandem with at all times with the global HR structure and program 

Your Profile

  • University degree in HR or related subject
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position
  • Able to travel from time to time
  • Native Greek speaker with fluent English; other languages an added bonus
  • Proven experience and history working within HR roles exhibiting high standards and levels of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Core traits as an HR manager to be: solid commitment and genuine interest in employee relations and healthy communication
  • Knowledge and experience using ERP systems a bonus
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, high EQ
  • Born multi-tasker, able to function in a highly organized and structured manner
  • Self-starter, able to work autonomously with energy and positivity
  • Solution-focused at all times
  • Diplomacy skills enabling you to establish and nurture good relations with all staff at all levels of the company
  • Proven experience creating and designing HR policy and procedure including relevant documentation such as contracts and letters of offer  
  • Proven experience in Recruitment and Retention
  • Knowledge and experience in Talent acquisition and management
  • Knowledge and experience of succession planning
