Job Description

  • Own UX/UI design throughout the software development lifecycle
  • design the user experiences that will be used by the engineers working in top Automotive suppliers
  • Conduct UX research with internal and external stakeholders to inform the strategic design and user-experience decisions
  • Take a user-centered design approach to design practical user experiences
  • Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and QA engineers to ship easy to use product features through a sleek and practical experience
  • Create storyboards, user/process flows, wireframes, mockups, and other supporting resources to communicate interaction and design ideas effectively
  • Design user interface elements (e.g., visualization widgets)
  • Create original visual designs (e.g. images, sketches, and tables)
  • Establish and promote UI design guidelines, best practices, and standards
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging trends in UX/UI design

Your Profile

  • 3+ years experience in a relevant design role
  • Demonstrable UX/UI design skills with a strong portfolio
  • Practical experience on conducting UX research using the appropriate methodologies
  • Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
  • Knowledge of design software like Adobe CC or Sketch
  • Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc and InVision)
  • Impeccable attention to detail combined with strong time management skills
  • Strive for continuous improvement, instead of perfection
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Self-starter and willing to learn
  • Good command of the English language

The following will be considered an advantage:

  • Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or related
  • Experience with UX/UI design in web / SaaS applications
  • Experience with rapid prototyping using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience with agile development methods (Scrum or Kanban)
