Part-Time Bookkeeper Administrator

Are you an experienced accounts officer or bookkeeper but only looking for part-time hours? A lovely role has arisen for an excellent corporate client of ours in Nicosia who is expanding the office and team and needs a good, solid professional.


Job Description

  • Maintain proper accounts and records in a timely manner
  • Ensure that all financial information is recorded in a complete, accurate and timely manner
  • Conduct bank/creditors reconciliations
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting if required
  • Handle tax and VAT matters, including the preparation of submissions and reports and carrying out all required filings to the Tax Department
  • Liaise with external associates such as auditors and banks
  • Answer client calls when needed or when admin is not available
  • Handle simple logistics (couriers, etc) when needed or when admin is not available
  • Exchange simple emails with clients on logistics (eg sending or receiving documents) when needed or when admin is not available

Your Profile

  • A minimum of five (5) years’ hands-on experience in accounting/bookkeeping
  • Relevant accounting qualifications/certifications are to be considered as an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills coupled with attention to detail
  • Fluent command of English and Greek, verbal and written (certifications will be considered an advantage)
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel (certifications will be considered an advantage)
  • Advanced knowledge of at least one major and reputable accounting software
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Familiarity with corporate, accounting and tax compliance matters will be considered an advantage
  • Able to work only part-time
