Our client’s team is currently expanding, and they are currently looking to hire an experienced Senior Compliance Officer for their offices in Limassol.

 

Job Description

  • Reporting to the Head of Compliance
  • Lead the organization's team of the Compliance Department
  • Design Company’s Policies and procedures related to compliance and AML matters
  • Prepare and submit compliance reports to the Group Head of Compliance, Board of Directors, and regulatory bodies
  • Maintain the corporate Code of Conduct policies and practices
  • Give guidance for corrective measures where necessary and inform the Group Head of the Department
  • Respond to any Compliance inquiries
  • Identify practical solutions to Regulatory Compliance issues or threats posed to the business
  • Prepare new and/or update existing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with CySEC rules and regulations
  • Enforce organization standards, policies, and procedures
  • Analyze regulatory developments, new compliance legislation, and market developments and prepare proposals for management review

Your profile

  • Fluency in both verbal and written communication skills in English is a must. Fluency in Greek will be considered an advantage.
  • Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Law, or related field
  • 5 years of experience in a compliance role within a regulated Firm
  • Holder of CySEC advanced certification
  • Holder of CySEC AML certification
  • Excellent knowledge of CySEC Laws and regulations applicable to CIFs
  • Excellent knowledge of the AML legislation
  • Exceptional skills in documenting and processing formation
  • Work effectively under pressure and adapt quickly to changes
  • High attention to detail and professional attitude
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage an established team of professionals
