A new key client servicing role has arisen in our Shipping section, in an established firm in Limassol. Our client is an agent of a firm handling imports and exports of containers for general cargo so it is essential that this Sales and Customer Service role be a proven professional and someone who understands the intricacies of the customer relationship and the Cyprus market for imports and exports.

 

Job Description

  • To promote the Company and its services and seek new opportunities for acquiring more business
  • To interact with customers by all means possible: email, phone, or visits
  • To attend to customers’ requests, meet their needs, and solve any problems that arise
  • To process import and export rate requests, prepare and send quotations and increase bookings
  • To prepare reports and statistical data within stipulated deadlines
  • To assist in the preparation of invoices and collection of all receivables
  • To work in the Freight Forwarding/Logistics team

Your Profile

  • Bachelors degree in Shipping, Business, Marketing or other related fields
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Logistics/freight forwarding industry
  • Computer literate
  • Fluency in written and verbal Greek and English
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Willingness to handle routine functions
  • Diplomacy and excellent client-centered manners
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
