Our client is a financial wellbeing service that aims to empower its members to achieve their financial goals. What started as a free monthly credit report to members has evolved into a hub where they can do more and more in-house under one roof - looked after by the best.

You’ll be a lover of logic; a natural problem solver able to take business requirements and projects and run with them to make them your own, providing the company with the all-important analysis and insights they need to hit their pretty sizeable goals. The first of your kind in the team, you’ll have all the skills and experience to hit the ground running from day one, tell our client what’s what, and push technical boundaries.

 

Job Description

  • Bringing together the many sources of data to design, create and grow the data platforms and pipelines using tools of your choice
  • Analyzing our data to offer insights and recommendations on customer profiling, behavior, and credit performance that’ll help shape the future of the company
  • Delivering automated and manual MI to key stakeholders across the business
  • Producing documentation to support your work and ensuring your code is annotated throughout, so it’s easy for anyone else in the team to pick up as needed
  • Coaching other members of the team to impart your wisdom and help them figure out complex problems

Your Profile

  • Live and breathe data analysis
  • Be a pro with cloud-based data and analytics platforms
  • Have buckets of experience with ETL development and advanced SSIS
  • Be able to write advanced SQL (including stored procedures) in your sleep
  • Know your tools inside out (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau)
  • Be a total wizard with Excel
  • Be enviably well-organized
  • Have the communication skills to be able to work with colleagues at all levels

Ideally, you’ll also know a bit about:

  • SSAS design and implementation
  • Tabular data models
  • Data cleansing
  • Agile methodologies
  • Power BI
  • Powerpivot
  • Sharepoint for BI
  • Integrating with CRM and campaign management tools
