Business Development Consultant

Nicosia Cyprus Non Remote

As a Consulting Organization based in Nicosia, our client is actively involved in supporting businesses and individuals to take full advantage of funding schemes and opportunities from EU and National funds, concerning business strategic development. Additionally, the company is known for its prowess in coordinating and participating in various EU and National-funded transnational research, innovation, and educational projects. It is also an accredited VET Center by the Human Resource Development Authority of Cyprus, the relevant public authority for the training and education sector, as well as with the International Quality System ISO 9001:2015.

The successful candidate will join this vibrant firm as the in-house Business Development Consultant, with a passion for supporting businesses and people to fulfill their strategic goals through the exploitation of funding schemes, as well as through the provision of lifelong learning opportunities.


Job Description

  • Develop effectively the applications and business plans/feasibility studies on behalf of the clients under the funding schemes which are being procured in Cyprus and abroad
  • Organize the training programs offered by the organization; online and offline implementation
  • Promote and recruit effectively the offered services; development and submission of applications under various funding schemes as well as training programs, to existing and potential clients of the organization
  • Continuously assess the needs of the market and the different sectors, as regards training and development (upskilling/reskilling) issues
  • Successfully build relationships with clients (businesses/persons) of the organization
  • Manage effectively EU and National projects, when needed
  • Represent the Organization abroad, when needed

Your Profile

  • Higher education degree in Business or a relevant sector
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English language
  • Experience in developing business plans and feasibility studies
  • Experience in activities regarding business consultation and development will be considered an asset
  • Experience in organizing and implementing training seminars will be considered an asset
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a small team
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Taking initiatives and willingness to learn
  • Ability to develop educational (training) material
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Microsoft Office knowledge
