A wonderful opportunity has arisen in Nicosia, Cyprus for an experienced professional, fluent in advising UHNW clients and with strong experience in the Family office environment to lead and become the Manager of our client’s multi-family office. The successful candidate reports directly to the client relationship partner of the firm and will have the following responsibilities.

 

Job Description

  • Reporting to the Head of Collective Portfolios, the successful candidate will be a member of the Investment Management Team and will have responsibility for the management of funds managed by the Company. This includes:
  • Financial due diligence of eligible investment opportunities as per the investment strategy of each fund under management
  • Monitoring of accounts, financial performance, and valuations of investments.
  • Contribution in the methodologies and assumptions used in the valuation of investments
  • Preparation of detailed cash flow budgets/forecasts for funds with significant and continuous cash flows
  • Assessment and review of significant events and strategic decisions
  • Responsible for keeping the portfolio within possible investment limits
  • Overseeing the assessment of risk exposure executed by the Risk Management Unit
  • Produce management reports for internal and external stakeholders' review
  • Contribute in the drafting of the semi-annual and annual reports
  • Supervision of the administration functions relating to the portfolio under management
  • Other relevant or internal administration duties depending on the needs of the firm

Your Profile

  • 10 years of relevant experience in private banking, or in a single or multi-family office, or in advising UHNW clients in family governance and wealth planning
  • University Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or another related field
  • Holder of professional qualification such as CFA, ACA, or ACCA
  • Holder of CySEC Advanced Certification is an advantage
  • Self-motivated with good interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work independently
  • Effective client skills and ability to capitalize on existing business opportunities, as well as developing new business
  • Strong networking/communication skills and a proactive approach to working with colleagues within the firm, and externally with client private bankers and other advisors
  • Highest of ethical standards, integrity, and discipline
  • Attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving approach
  • Oral and written fluency/proficiency in English and Greek is a must
