As a luxury hospitality Group, our client is expanding and opening new hotels, 2022 means opportunity and new team members. As the in-house Accountant, you will keep track of every financial transaction of the hotel to make sure that all incoming and outgoing financial transactions are accurately recorded and handled. Your core functions will enable financial operations to operate smoothly and error-free.


Job Description

  • Prepare and maintain the bookkeeping and accounting records and ensure they are up-to-date
  • Managing day-to-day transactions
  • Prepare monthly suppliers/vendors reconciliations and bank reconciliations
  • Prepare bank payments and deposits
  • Ensure that all pending credit invoices are paid in a timely manner
  • Assist in invoicing, cash collection, and depositing in related banks
  • Document management (Filing, scanning, mailing)
  • Have knowledge of VAT entries and VAT Forms
  • Complete Payroll tasks and calculations
  • Ensure the accurate and timely processing of all accounting deadlines
  • Ensure that the online database is up to date

Your Profile

  • Able to work weekends and holidays as required to meet deadlines
  • Able to work flexible hours/extended shifts as required
  • BSc in Accounting/Finance/Economics
  • 3-5 years of related experience in accounts payables
  • Greek native speaker with fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • Computer literate with excellent proficiency in Excel and Word
  • Knowledge of hotel PMS system, hotel accounting system, and hotel sales system
  • Ability to operate phones, calculators, computer equipment, copiers and printers
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Self-motivated and able to operate in a mentally and physically stressful situation


  • Hospitality expertise is highly preferred
  • Ability to be persistent, patient, creative, and flexible
  • Exceptional work ethic and commitment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Highly developed problem-solving and prioritization abilities
  • Strong organizational and people skills
