An experienced Financial Accountant is needed for a global brand and well established in tech retail. Our client, is pleased to be expanding its teams and is looking for experienced retail accountants to interview.

Job Description

• Manage the Accounting Department with their day-today functions by performing Accounting duties and bookkeeping transactions
• Manage Accounting duties for all Accounts functions to the rest of the Accounting Team
• Maintain confidentiality of all Accounting data
• Compute taxes and process in tax payments and returns
• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
• Examining Bank and Cash Statements and Reconciling them with General Ledger entries
• Examining expenses submitted by Company’s Executives / Managers
• Keeping updated the incoming payments from Accounts receivable and outgoing payments from accounts payable
• Creating Company Accounting reports with the above information included
• Analysing data collected in order to determine the state of the company’s financial position
• Analysing data to understand where the company is generating and losing Revenue Streams
• Generating Accounting reports that display the company’s Budgeted Sales, Expenses, Depreciations profits, and cash flow

 Your Profile

• At minimum, an Associate’s degree in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Finance, or similar field. Bachelor’s degree preferred. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience can be substituted
• Three (3) years of relevant, hands-on accounting experience in a similar position
• Proficient to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, including Excel
• Moderate knowledge of SAP will be considered an advantage
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage several activities simultaneously
• Understands technical or professional aspects of work
• Respects and works well with others
• Capable of working in a team
• Ability to work on own initiative and be proactive
• Ability to work independently on assigned duties
