Job Description

  • Responsible for the book-keeping, payment processing and management account preparation of the two Cyprus based companies
  • Compiling, analyzing and reporting financial data
  • Monitoring spending and budgets
  • Manage any third parties to which functions have been outsourced
  • Examine and amend where necessary the uniform reporting structure for all the companies of the Group
  • Oversee the issuance of financial information via liaising with the local accountants/auditors
  • Report financial results to the Finance Manager
  • Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate (and implement) their findings and recommendations
  • Responsible for monitoring and maintaining accurate and up to date records for group companies
  • Maintaining a structured filing system for corporate documents
  • Maintaining a structured filing system for accounting documents, contracts etc.
  • Ad-hoc administration work Operations
  • Implement operational best practices
  • Oversee and manage the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan and Modelling tools
  • Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis
  • Improve performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies and understand ROI in marketing programs
  • Supporting Senior Management Team and Departments heads with in-depth analysis
  • Prepare presentations to Board of Directors and Senior Management Team
  • Create ad-hoc industry analysis to assist departmental benchmarking
  • Funding 
  • Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts
  • Prepare and present to the Finance Manager bimonthly cash positions
  • Prepare and present to the Finance Manager cash projections on a monthly basis

Your Profile

  • IFRS experience
  • Work Experience as an Accountant
  • Fluent in the Greek and English Languages.
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized
  • Strong leadership skills required
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
  • Experience in ERP systems is an advantage
  • BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
